After-school tutoring

Individualized K-8 tutoring that actually fits your student

Every session is built around what your child needs — their pace, their style, their goals — not a one-size-fits-all worksheet. Our tutors meet students where they are, and build up from there.

What we offer

Four ways we help

One-On-One Tutoring

Undivided attention, every single session.

After-school academic tutoring in all core subjects across K–8 — plus many electives. Tutors specialize in everything from early-childhood fundamentals to middle-school math and science, matched to your child's pace and learning style.

  • Elementary & middle school across all core subjects
  • Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Health & electives
  • Middle School Math and Algebra I
  • Tutors for early childhood and subject-matter experts for advanced topics

Dyslexia & Dyscalculia Support

Specialist-level, certified instruction — not guesswork.

Our director is Orton-Gillingham certified, and we have a 27-year Reading Specialist on the team. We support students who struggle with dyslexia, dyscalculia (dyslexia in math), and dysgraphia — with structured, evidence-based approaches that build real, lasting skills.

  • Orton-Gillingham (OG) / Structured Literacy instruction
  • Dyslexia, dyscalculia & dysgraphia support
  • Basic Dyslexia Screening and Standard Assessments
  • Advocacy and IEP support for struggling learners

Small-Group & 2:1 Sessions

Learn with a friend — better results, better value.

If your child works well in pairs or has a friend who needs the same support, a one-on-two session is the most economical option and just as academically effective. Great for kids who learn best alongside a peer.

  • 1:2 sessions at a lower per-student cost
  • Peer learning builds confidence and problem-solving
  • Free audit session for interested middle/high-school students
  • $30 credit for parent referrals

Home-School Support

Supplement what you're teaching at home.

We supplement instruction for home-schooled students in grades K–8, weekdays between 10 AM – 2 PM (Mon–Thu). We've supported families across Aventa, Connections Academy, Metro East Web Academy, Summit Charter, Oregon Trail, BYU Online, Saxon, and A Beka curricula.

  • K–8 subjects, weekday afternoons (Mon–Thu, 10 AM–2 PM)
  • Alumni of Aventa, Connections, Metro East, Summit & more
  • Flexible support for Saxon Math, A Beka & online academies
